Diablo 3 Monster Death Animations By Andrew Po Diablo 3 is a new upcoming RPG from the wildly popular Diablo series. I myself had tons of fun playing Diablo 2, both single player and online on Battle.net (I played a Sorceress). I am very much looking forward to the new Diablo 3 with it's improved graphics, gameplay and multiplayer as well as new classes and Havok physics engine. I'd like to outline just a single aspect of this great game, and that's death animations of monsters. Did you know that every creature will have 35 unique death animations? Yes, that's right, 35! I'm sure not all of them will be hand-crafted and part of them will involve Havok engine to look different, but it's an impressive number nevertheless. Imagine different endings such as "crushed", "burned", "frozen", "exploded", "shredded" and so on, different for every single creature which is especially important for a hack'n'slash game like Diablo. Looking forward to Diablo 3 very much :)
