Pirates and ninjas are both cool, but who is better?

For years, people have debated which ones are better, stronger, more awesome, and who would win in a fight: ninjas or pirates? Let's review what we know about these two groups.

Ninjas are merciless killers, trained in secret martial arts since the age of 3. They are masters of stealth and can fade into shadows. If you see a ninja, he's either not a ninja, or you are about to be killed. Ninjas are known to wear black clothes, be able to climb walls (and even ceilings!) and throw little metal stars called shurikens that hurt like hell. A true ninja will kill himself if he fails his mission; he also doesn't care about material wealth and doesn't poison his body with alcohol.

Pirates, on the other hand, are a rowdy bunch. They are not as much brave as they are greedy; all they care about is loot and booty (they get all the wenches!). Even if a pirate finds treasure, he loses all of it in one day by gambling. You can smell pirate before you see him, so you see, they loose to ninjas in the stealth department. A true pirate can drink rum for three days straight, and then participate in a bar brawl. Pirates also have many cool thingies such as swords, guns, parrots, and eye patches.

So, which ones are better? The general consensus is that pirates win on the sea, while ninjas dominate the ground.
